The Gear Minx II is made from a high quality black plastic. The object of this puzzle is to scramble up all 12 sides and then return it back to its original starting position. The unique gear system of this puzzle allows the shape to get quite scrambled along with the colors, providing for an extra challenge. The designer of the Gear Minx II, Oskar van Deventer from Leidschendam in the Netherlands, started designing puzzles when he was 12, and has now been designing for over 30 years.
